Nickel Oxide (NiO)

Nickel Oxide is the main oxide of Nickel and is typically an intermediate stage in-between the production of other useful nickel alloys. It is light green in color in powder form if there is a perfect stoichiometry, but typically materials will be grey or black due to the difficulty involved in the production. It has the natural crystal structure of Rock salt (NaCl) and is octahedral.
