Nickle is atomic number 28 and has its first uses dating back to 3500BCE. It has been used to plate iron and brass, as well as in coatings for chemistry equipment due to its slow rate of oxidation, and resistance to corrosion. It is one of only four metals that are magnetic at room temperature (Iron, gadolinium, and cobalt). Due to its anti-corrosive nature, Nickel works well as an alloying agent for PGM (Platinum Group Metals).
We offer our Nickel (Ni) Sputtering Targets in 99.9% & 99.99% purity.
