Zinc (Zn)

Zinc (Zn) is Atomic number 30 and appears a brittle silvery-blue solid. It is an essential mineral to most life and is the 24th most abundant element on the curst of the earth. It occurs in five different stable isotopes and is a component in Brass, which is an alloy of copper in zinc. It is anti-corrosive, resisting forming into oxides, hydroxides or sulfides, and so it used as gallization of steel or iron to protect is from those processes.
