Lanthanum Aluminate (LaAlO3)

Lanthanum Aluminate (LaAlO3), abbreviated as LAO, is optically transparent or will appear tan or brown. This material has a dielectric constant of ~25, and has been used commonly with Strontium Titanium Oxide (SrTiO3) to create a shared interface which is electrically conductive, superconductive, ferromagnetic and giant persistent photoconductivity.
