Tellurium (Te) is atomic number 52 and is known as a chalcogen which are elements located in group 16 on the table of elements. This silvery-white metal forms a polymeric structure, resists oxidation by air, and is not volatile. Cadmium has been with this material to create CdTe Solar Cells.
